• Board Data: Content you create in your task boards, including titles, descriptions, and task details.
• Guest Data: Name and optional email provided by guests when they sign up for tasks, based on the settings chosen by the board owner.
• Service Diagnostics: Minimal technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain our service.
• Send you important updates about your account and boards.
• Deliver optional notifications or reminders when a board is configured to send them.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Guest names may be visible on the board so participants can see who claimed a task. Guest email addresses are not displayed publicly on the board and remain available to the board owner for coordination when collected.

User-Generated Templates

Our service allows you to save boards as templates for reuse. Please be aware of the following:

• Templates store the structure of your board (title, description, settings, and task names/descriptions) but do **not** include any personal guest sign-up data.
• If you are on our **Free plan**, any templates you create will be made **public** and available in our public template gallery for other users to see and use.
• If you are on a **paid plan (Pro or Business)**, you have the option to save your templates as **private**, making them visible only to you.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Ads, Tracking, and Cookies

GatherTasks does not use third-party advertising on public sign-up boards. We use essential cookies and storage needed to keep the app working, such as maintaining login state and remembering access to password-protected boards during a session.
